Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a Laborer in the Pump department in a full-time, day shift based in North Carolina. The role involves both indoor and outdoor work, lifting up to 65 pounds, and may include nights or weekends during busy seasons and on-call rotation.

The position offers full benefits with a base pay range of $20.00–$21.00 per hour, and requires strong reliability, safe driving history, and the ability to work in varied weather and environments.

• Able to lift 65 pounds often, at least 66% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices in accordance with WRE and DOT requirements.
• Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency (get truck ready, tools, etc.) by following daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance (check fluids, tires, supplies)
• Perform customer service interaction when on work site to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Observe and note defective septic component systems, adverse buildup or hazards on the work order and provide any recommended maintenance or service to customer.
• Completion and submission of quote and service paperwork to management in a timely manner, if required.
• Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner.
• Discuss and recommend adequate maintenance service frequency with the customer.
• Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols
• Other duties as assigned by management

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20.00 - $21.00 hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
