Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a field-based Lift Station Repair Technician to perform service and repair on sewage pump stations. This role handles electrical and plumbing tasks and requires work in confined spaces.

You will maintain and repair lift station equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and assist with installation and testing across multiple sites. Responsibilities include diagnostic testing, reporting, and responding to alarms during and after hours.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of lift station maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road exams.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces as defined by OSHA regulations up to 40 feet below ground
• Climb ladders; work at heights up to 20’
• Lift and move up to 65 pounds.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Demonstrated working knowledge and experience using tools and testing equipment applicable to pump station maintenance, including basic knowledge of electrical controls.
• Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs.
• Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management.
• Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines.
• Basic computer literacy including email and internet skills.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Five or more years of experience performing lift station maintenance and repairs preferred.
• Driver's license required, in good standing
• Previous experience working with electrical components (pumps, alarms, control panels)

Minimum Education/Experience/Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Driver's license required, in good standing
• Five or more years of experience performing lift station maintenance and repairs (preferred, but not required)
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road exams
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
• Must be able to meet physical demands evaluation
• Must be able to lift over 65 lbs regularly

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $25.00 - $28.00 hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
