Job summary

Wind River Environmental, LLC is hiring for a Laborer to support the Pump department. The role may involve indoor and outdoor work, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces. It is a full-time, full-benefits position with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional nights/weekends during busy season and on-call rotations.

The base pay range is $20.00–$21.00 per hour. Final compensation depends on location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old
• Reliable and dependable
• History of safe driving
• Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift 65 pounds often, at least 66% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices in accordance with WRE and DOT requirements.
• Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency by following daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance (check fluids, tires, supplies).
• Perform customer service interaction on site to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Observe and note defective septic component systems, adverse buildup or hazards and provide maintenance recommendations.
• Complete and submit quotes and service paperwork to management in a timely manner.
• Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner.
• Discuss and recommend adequate maintenance service frequency with the customer.
• Follow Wind River Environmental service protocols.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for Laborer to assist in our Pump department. Among other things, this position could involve both inside and outside work, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces. This is a full-time, full benefits, M-F Day position, with occasional nights and/or weekend work during busy season and on-call rotation.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20.00 - $21.00 hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices in accordance with WRE and DOT requirements.
• Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency (get truck ready, tools, etc.) by following daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance (check fluids, tires, supplies)
• Perform customer service interaction when on work site to ensure customer satisfaction
• Observe and note defective septic component systems, adverse buildup or hazards on the work order and provide any recommend maintenance or service to customer
• Completion and submission of quote and service paperwork to management in a timely manner, if required
• Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner
• Discuss and recommend adequate maintenance service frequency with the customer
• Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols Other duties as assigned by management

• Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs.

• Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines.
• Basic computer literacy including email and internet skills.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
