Job summary

RTX is hosting a full-time, onsite co-op session focused on mechanical and aerospace engineering. Interns will engage in fuel and oil pump development, support CFD analyses, and assist with problem-solving for pump programs.

You will work with design engineers, participate in RCCA activities, support field failure investigations, and help process change requests from supplier interactions.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and ownership for the Fuel and Oil pump product line in support of new development pump design efforts and production/fielded pump programs.
• Support lead design engineers in performance of CFD analysis in support of new pump designs and field investigations.
• Lead RCCA efforts to identify causes and mitigation plans for issues affecting pump program productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction.
• Provide customer support for Field Failure investigations.
• Resolve SRIs by providing clarifications and processing Change Requests (CRs).

What You Will Do:

• Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January- July/August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Learn:
