Job summary

Sofidel S.p.A. in Florida seeks a Pulper Operator to support daily pulper operations in the paper mill. You will ensure the correct furnish is used, prepare materials for each batch, and operate equipment like the Guillotine and wire chopper.

Responsibilities include maintaining safe work practices, monitoring bale pulper levels, and keeping the work area clean. Prior experience in a paper mill and a GED or high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Understanding of GMP and HACCP protocols.
• Ability to operate forklift and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports GMP and HACCP to promote a safe, hygienic workplace.
• Verifies correct furnish to run.
• Prepares rolls or bales for each batch.
• Operates the Guillotine and wire chopper.
• Monitors bale pulper levels and adds batch as needed.
• Maintains forklift with propane and radiator care.
• Loads bale pulper with recycled paper (Broke).
• Keeps immediate and surrounding areas clean and organized.
