Job summary

Sofidel America, part of the Sofidel Group, is seeking a Feeding Pulper Operator to support paper production. This role ensures safe operation of pulping equipment, monitors material flow, inspects raw materials, and maintains production records to support mill performance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights. Prior experience in a paper mill or industrial setting and familiarity with safety procedures are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or paper mill environment preferred.
• Experience operating industrial machinery and material handling systems preferred.
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout and industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate pulper feeding equipment and conveyors.
• Feed raw materials into the pulper according to production requirements.
• Monitor pulping process and maintain material flow.
• Inspect incoming materials and remove contaminants.
• Maintain production records and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Support preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Follow safety policies including Lockout/Tagout.
