Job summary

Solenis is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager based in the Brunswick, GA area to lead commercial efforts in the pulp & paper market. You will drive regional growth, coach a two-person technical and sales team, and align with corporate accounts, marketing, pricing, and applications to capture opportunities.

You will develop business plans, document ROI, manage a territory pipeline in SFDC, and ensure profitable growth while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in pulp & paper, industrial manufacturing, or related technical industry.
• Strong technical aptitude; ability to work effectively with engineering and service teams.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops business development strategies and annual plans for the region.
• Lead, coach, and develop two direct reports: Service Technician and a Sales Representative.
• Sell new business and applications in territory; document ROI and value delivery.
• Establish and manage a current sales funnel in SFDC.
• Review profitability, pricing, and accounts receivable; ensure safety improvements.
• Aim for high customer satisfaction and retention.
