Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Project Services Engineer for the Pulp and Paper Automation business to support SMART Products in North America. The role covers installation, commissioning, startup, and lifecycle services for SMART VIB profilers and related systems.

You will travel across North America to customer sites, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical support while ensuring high customer satisfaction and adherence to project scope and safety standards.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in electronics, engineering, mechatronics or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in customer service or technical support roles.
Knowledge of pulp and paper manufacturing processes preferred.
Experience with PLC-DCS data communications (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP).
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical info for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Ensure high customer satisfaction for North American SMART product customers.
Collaborate with team members to resolve technical matters in a timely manner.
Provide regular updates to customers on project and service inquiries.
Prepare and maintain technical reports per project scope and service requirements.
Participate in training to stay current with new products and technologies.
