Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, start-up, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade automation control systems for pulp and paper customers.

The role requires up to 60% travel to sites across the Midwest and West and frequent customer interaction. You will support QCS and EPKS/DCS platforms, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, document activities, and participate in an 18‑month CEAT training program to earn the QCS L3 certification while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of engineering/technical experience; military electronics experience may be considered equivalent
• Valid driver''s license and ability to pass background checks
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel up to 60% to customer sites
• Proficient with Windows OS and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities

Responsibilities

• Travel to pulp & paper sites to provide technical support and maintenance.
• Support QCS and EPKS/DCS control systems at customer facilities.
• Assist with plant outages, start-up, and commissioning.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and diagnostics.
• Document service activities and prepare reports using MS Office.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and Honeywell staff.
