Job summary

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading continuous improvement, reliability, or process improvement initiatives.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, training, or developing others to improve capability and performance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Paper Science, Bioresource Engineering, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Principle-Based Management and foster safety, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees to close performance and knowledge gaps.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, reliability to improve asset performance and operating capability.
• Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting for pulp processes and equipment to improve reliability and production.
• Analyze operational data to identify opportunities to improve yield, quality, efficiency, energy use, and performance.
• Lead asset strategies with reliability and maintenance resources to maximize availability and long-term health.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, capital projects, and outage planning to create business value.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and communicate opportunities up to leadership.
