Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC seeks an Operations Leader – Pulp at its Crossett Paper Mill in Crossett, AR. The role combines technical engineering ownership with people leadership to improve asset reliability, process performance, and team capability.

The person will partner with multiple teams to optimize pulp manufacturing, foster safety, and drive long‑term value through continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting line connects to the Product System Leader.

Qualifications

Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading continuous improvement, reliability, or process improvement initiatives.
Experience coaching, mentoring, training, or developing others to improve capability and performance.

Responsibilities

Lead with Principle-Based Management and influence a culture of safety, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Coach, mentor, and develop employees while identifying and closing performance and knowledge gaps across the pulp operation.
Partner with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams to improve asset performance and operating capability.
Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support for pulp processes and equipment to improve reliability and production.
Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve yield, quality, efficiency, energy consumption, and overall performance.
Manage asset strategies to maximize availability and long-term asset health.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, capital projects, equipment modifications, and outages.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and communicate opportunities to leadership.
