Job summary

Sanofi US is seeking a Thought Leader Liaison for Pulmonology in Chicago, IL. This field-based, non-sales role partners with KOLs and cross-functional teams to advance on-label conversations and strategic brand plans.

You will build enduring KOL relationships, coordinate with Medical, Marketing and Sales, and ensure compliant engagements while traveling 60-80% to engage regional and national speakers and conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must reside within the assigned territory or nearby.
• Ability to travel 60-80%.
• Respiratory or biologic experience.
• 5+ years in field sales, product marketing, or medical/clinical roles in pharma/biotech.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs within the pulmonology community for on-label business conversations.
• Align with cross-functional teams; orchestrate resources against strategic brand plans.
• Share KOL insights with marketing and senior leadership; provide feedback to commercial leadership on topics.
• Measure KOL advocacy aligned to key brand messages.
• Enhance KOL advocacy through compliant engagements with senior leaders, medical, marketing, and internal brand partners.
• Collaborate with the field commercial team to ensure strategic and tactical cohesiveness with assigned KOLs.
• Serve as the point of contact for KOLs to the organization and coordinate with field sales for promotional program scheduling.
• Assist with on-label KOL development, including speakers and materials with Medical Science Liaisons.
• Plan and execute KOL engagements at field events, conferences, and other venues in a compliant manner.
• Provide speaker recommendations to marketing and identify emerging opinion leaders.
