Job summary

AdventHealth Brandon, a leading healthcare provider in Florida, is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to guide physician offices toward excellent patient experience and staff engagement. You will align practice operations with performance goals, educate physicians and staff, and oversee hiring and performance reviews.

This role requires 4+ years in leadership in a physician practice, strong knowledge of billing, compliance, and patient care standards, plus proficiency with Word,

Qualifications

• Associate degree required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Master's degree preferred
• 4+ years of leadership in a group practice environment required
• Experience in medical records, coding and reimbursement preferred
• Patient care experience in a physician practice required
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Utilize metrics from the Physician Enterprise Dashboard to align practice with goals
• Engage physicians and staff to educate and ensure compliance with performance expectations in Patient Experience and Employee Engagement
• Involve physicians in discussions to improve engagement scores based on surveys
• Train staff in Customer Service to drive high performance
• Support patient audit processes and reporting, review results and plan corrective actions
• Manage and evaluate employee performance, including screening, interviewing, and hiring
• Maintain personnel records for all staff including physicians
• Develop QA measures and ensure ongoing implementation
• Meet monthly with office staff to foster collaboration and inform developments
• Guide Practice Managers to create an office environment that achieves quality patient experience and physician/staff engagement
• Other duties as assigned
