Inova Health - Pulmonology is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Ashburn, VA. This full-time day shift role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, at 21785 Filigree Court Suite 103.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, Virginia RN license (or eligibility), and BLS certification. Preferred 1–2 years of acute care experience in ICU/ER/trauma or surgical units. Inova offers strong benefits and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: 1-2 years of acute care experience such as ICU, ER, trauma or surgical units

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties in clinic or outpatient settings, including phone triage.
• Care navigation for patient flow and access to care.
• In-basket management and coordination of tasks.
• Provides safe, therapeutic care in a physician practice or outpatient setting.
• Incorporates data to improve care and outcomes; mentors others.
• Determines priorities and supports team to maximize productivity.
• Makes independent clinical decisions based on education and experience.
