KOPA, Inc is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat health conditions, promote preventive care, and supervise a team of NPs at Avante at Boca Raton. The role emphasizes collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

The NP will conduct exams, order tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients and families while advancing clinical knowledge through team leadership and workflow optimization.

Formación

• Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a skilled nursing facility.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong focus on patient care and education.
• Knowledge of health regulations and infection control.

Responsabilidades

• Examine patients and their medical records.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
• Prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules.
• Inform patients about health conditions and prescribed meds.
• Educate patients and families on diseases and prevention.
• Oversee and mentor NP team.
• Lead team meetings and onboarding of new NPs.
• Assist in creating workflows and best practices.
• Provide coverage at other Florida facilities when needed.
• Travel within-state may be required.
