Qualifications

• BSN required and RN licensure in TX.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• RN I performance competency or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and provides holistic nursing care and notifies physicians of significant changes.
• Develops, directs, and evaluates individualized care plans with patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Prepares patients for procedures, implements physician orders, and ensures patient safety protocols and medication administration.
• Reassesses patient responses to interventions and communicates with physicians for modifications.
• Delivers Bedside Shift Reports, provides thorough patient updates, and coordinates care transitions.
• Maintains a safe environment and contributes to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
