Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid RN license from the state licensing board is required.
• BLS or ACLS certification is required.
• One year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures confidentiality.
• Documents health history, vital signs, and assessments; evaluates disease condition.
• Provides patient care based on guidelines and regulations; administers medications and monitors progress.
• Educates patients and families about health status and self-management of conditions.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes.
• Tracks quality assurance data and monitors acute and chronic care management.
