Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an outpatient clinic role in Billings, MT. The RN will provide direct patient care in the Sleep and Respiratory Suite, using evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary collaboration to support ambulatory needs.

The position requires a nursing degree, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS with at least one year in a clinic or acute setting. Part-time schedule offers a robust benefits package and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• BLS or ACLS is required.
• One year related clinic or acute hospital nursing experience is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs, and risk factors; assesses disease condition.
• Provides patient care based on guidelines, standards of care, and laws.
• Executes prescribed treatments, administers medications, and monitors progress; consults physicians as needed.
• Educates patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Documents assessment and intervention data in medical records.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care outcomes.
• Tracks quality assurance data for care management.
