Physicians East, P.A. seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) in Pulmonary and Sleep for our Greenville, NC clinic.

This full-time role requires NC PA-C/NP licensure and DEA license, with responsibilities in consults, daily visits, COPD, asthma, sleep apnea management, and inpatient/outpatient coordination. The ideal candidate is autonomous, has strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and can manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting, including occasional weekend

Qualifications

• Licensed as a PA-C or NP in North Carolina with DEA registration.
• Minimum of one year post-graduate experience in pulmonary, urgent, emergency, or primary care settings.
• Ability to work independently under indirect supervision and manage diverse clinical duties.
• Experience with EMR systems and medical dictation (Dragon) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with consults and daily visits, including COPD, asthma, SOB, and sleep apnea care.
• Obtain medical histories, review records, and determine diagnostic/therapeutic needs.
• Order labs and imaging as appropriate; perform independent evaluations and treatments.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and medications; prepare prescriptions.
• Triage calls and maintain continuity of care between visits; participate in meetings.
