Job summary

Physicians East, P.A. seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join the Gastroenterology team in Greenville, NC. This full-time role requires NC PA-C or NP license and a DEA license, plus at least one year of post-graduate clinical experience.

Strong EMR and Dragon dictation skills and precise documentation are essential. The APR will perform consults, follow-ups, manage patient care, order labs/imaging, and collaborate with supervising physicians in a fast-paced clinic, Monday–Friday,

Qualifications

• Licensed PA-C or NP in North Carolina.
• DEA license required.
• At least 1 year post-graduate experience in related setting.
• Experience with EMR systems and documentation.
• Ability to work independently under indirect supervision.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with consults and daily visits.
• Sees follow-up patients in clinic.
• Obtains complete medical history and physical data.
• Reviews patient records and interprets data.
• Orders laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
• Performs independent evaluations and treatment.
• Administers injections, immunizations, and medications.
• Prepares written prescription orders.
• Triages patient calls and provides consultation.
• Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
• Attends required meetings and participates in committees.
• Maintains professional affiliations.
• Follows guidelines and procedures with supervising physicians.
