Job summary

Franklin Plaza is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to care for residents requiring NIV and complex respiratory support. This full-time day shift role offers opportunities to work in a fast-paced post-acute and long-term care environment with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license required.
• Experience with NIV, ventilator care, or critical care preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or step-down units a plus.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong assessment and communication skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for residents requiring NIV, tracheostomy, and respiratory support.
• Assess and document patient conditions and changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists to develop care plans.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and monitor status.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs as assigned.
• Maintain compliant documentation in the EMR.
