Job summary

Apploi in Akron, OH is seeking a compassionate registered nurse to join a specialized SNF respiratory team. You will deliver high-quality patient-centered care with a focus on tracheostomy care, suctioning, breathing treatments, and pulmonary rehabilitation, collaborating with Respiratory Therapists and the interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort and dignity for residents.

The role requires an active RN license in Ohio, CPR certification, and comfort with electronic health record systems.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Ohio.
• Current CPR certification.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate EHR systems.
• Ventilator/tracheostomy care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN-level nursing care in the Respiratory Department.
• Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and breathing treatments.
• Coordinate with Respiratory Therapists and interdisciplinary team for resident comfort and quality of life.
• Supervise nursing assistants and ensure compliance with regulations.
