Job summary

Ascension Franklin is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for the Nights shift. Based in Franklin, WI, you’ll join the Respiratory department to design care plans and deliver advanced modalities with real-time adjustments.

This role supports emergency resuscitation, maintains equipment, and ensures sterile, ready supplies. Requires Wisconsin-licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner and BLS within 30 days; ALS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; AHA or ARC accepted.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credential from Wisconsin Board obtained before hire.
• ALS, PALS and NRP preferred where available.

Responsibilities

• Design individualized care plans by assessing patient needs and diagnoses.
• Deliver and monitor advanced respiratory modalities with real-time adjustments.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and long-term health.
• Lead life-saving interventions as part of the emergency resuscitation team.
• Oversee equipment integrity and supply readiness to keep tools sterile and available.
