Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls is seeking a Medical Assistant/Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team. You will assist with direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting and communicate with providers and staff about changes in patient condition.

Under supervision of MD/PA-C/NP, you will document vital signs, prepare charts, and support patients and families. The role includes routine tasks, basic equipment operation, and a commitment to confidentiality and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and CNA/MA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience as a medical assistant or CNA is required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care within the scope of practice.
• Work under supervision of MD/PA-C/NP to deliver patient care.
• Documents vital signs in the patient chart.
• Prepare charts and gather test results before appointments.
• Communicates changes in patient status to the care team.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and professional demeanor.
