Job summary

Mountain View Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Idaho Falls. You will assist physicians with all patient care, handling both clerical and clinical duties, and help maintain a positive image of the clinic.

You will communicate patient condition changes and diagnostic results to providers, nurses and managers as appropriate. Ideal candidates have a Medical Assistant certification and a high school diploma or equivalent; CMA course is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant is required or applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with all patient care, both clerical and clinical.
• Convey a positive image of the clinic to patients and staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition and diagnostic results to providers, nurses and managers as appropriate.
• Work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.
