The role requires an Associate's Degree and NBRC CRT CPFT certification, plus NYS Respiratory Therapist license and about two years of related experience. You will work under supervision with attention to accuracy and patient communication.

Qualifications

• Performs pulmonary function tests according to ATS standards.
• Excellent communication with patients and physicians.
• Maintains daily calibration and quality controls of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs pulmonary function tests in accordance with ATS standards.
• Observes, measures and records readings and conveys findings to physician.
• May measure sweat chloride to test for cystic fibrosis.
• Responsible for daily equipment calibration.
