Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.
• Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) preferred.
• Prior experience performing pulmonary function testing required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with both adult and geriatric populations.

Aufgaben

• Perform pulmonary function tests including spirometry, lung volumes, and diffusion capacity.
• Prepare and educate patients on testing procedures.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout testing.
• Accurately document and upload results into EMR.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot PFT equipment.
