Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the Pulmonary Diagnostics team at St. Luke's clinic. The role is 0.8 FTE, days, with no weekends and no holidays, offering 32 hours per week and a competitive pay range.

Key duties include performing spirometry and other pulmonary tests, administering inhaled medications, collecting blood gases, and supporting patient safety and education. Licensure, BLS, and NBRC credentials are required or in progress within timelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Active CPFT or RPFT certification within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary diagnostic testing (spirometry, MVV, DLCO, bronchial provocation).
• Administer inhaled medications per provider order; collect and analyze blood gas samples.
• May perform home oxygen assessments and bronchoscopy assists.
• Promote safety and effective communication; report safety events as required.
