Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England's Pulmonary Diseases team seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to support patients with respiratory conditions. You will prepare rooms, document histories, and assist with spirometry and breathing tests.

In this full-time, day-shift role based in Hartford, CT, you will collect vital signs, update electronic medical records, and help with patient education on inhalers and therapies. A strong team spirit and patient-centered approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience.
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assistance preferred; National Certification as Medical Assistant a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms and assist during examinations.
• Take and document vital signs and patient histories in the medical record.
• Perform spirometry and other breathing tests as directed by the physician.
• Assist with treatments and patient education on inhalers and respiratory therapies.
• Support front desk tasks such as scheduling and patient communication.
