Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Line Cook in Puerto Rico to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will work the line with precision, following recipe standards and maintaining high quality while supporting the station under variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years cooking experience with broiler and sauté proficiency, a valid Food Handler Card, and good English communication. Safety and sanitation are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years cooking experience preferred; broiler cooking preferred.
• Holds a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Good sanitation knowledge and equipment operation.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.

Aufgaben

• Prepares daily preparation lists for production.
• Reads and applies recipes with basic math.
• Prepares all broiled and sautéed items per standard recipes.
• Inspects and selects high-quality ingredients for menu items.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage in adherence to health regulations.
• Keeps logs, cooling, and temperature controls in order.
• Follows safety, security, and fire procedures; reports hazards.
• Maintains neat appearance and supports other kitchen staff as needed.
