Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of publishing processes, including production, scheduling, and financial management.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Extensive project management and planning ability.
• Experience with RSuite, Global Works Tool, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Clear understanding of the Christian publishing industry, editorial practices, and publishing operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up ISBNs, facilitate data updates, and ensure data integrity throughout the lifecycle of products.
• Set up schedules in Asana for all new publishing projects, helping to lead the team to ensure timely deliverables, adherence to budgets, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with production on product specifications and pricing.
• Assess potential risks early, providing strategic insight to inform decision-making and minimize exposure.
• Develop and document production plans with stakeholders and maintain cross-departmental relationships.
• Participate in Managing Editorial Meetings to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Manage P&L development, approvals, and processing, including vendor setup and payments.
• Track and facilitate CRF approvals, ensuring compliance with processes.
• Oversee sales conference and title announcement information and calendars.
• Review reprint requests and facilitate POD transitions as needed.
• Map titles in Global Works Tool and maintain title trackers for stakeholders.
• Pull financial reports from company platforms and interpret the data.
