Taylor & Francis, part of Informa, invites an Associate Publisher or Publisher to lead a journals portfolio in the Humanities, Media and the Arts. You will develop strategic plans, build partnerships with societies and editors, and drive revenue and quality across multiple titles.

The role requires travel to conferences, strong knowledge of publishing ethics, open access, and market analysis, plus the ability to manage projects, communicate persuasively, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Solid background in academic publishing with peer review and ethics.
• Familiarity with open access, impact metrics and funder mandates.
• Ability to identify market opportunities and develop strategic plans.
• Proven revenue and article-volume target achievement and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a portfolio of academic journals within Humanities, Media and the Arts.
• Develop strategic plans to drive quality, growth and profitability while meeting revenue targets.
• Build partnerships with academic societies, editors, and communities; represent at conferences.
• Monitor performance metrics and improve journal rankings and reputation.
• Negotiate contracts with societies, editors and contributors.
• Expand the portfolio by launching new journals or transitioning to open access models.
• Act as a thought leader in academic publishing and participate in industry events.
• Ensure compliance with ethical publishing standards.
