Syneos Health/ inVentiv Health Commercial LLC seeks an experienced medical writer to lead the creation of manuscripts, abstracts, posters and presentations, ensuring accuracy and clear scientific communication across studies.

The role coordinates with data management, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs, while mentoring junior writers and ensuring adherence to ICH E3 and internal SOPs, budgets, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience leading medical writing deliverables across studies.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (ICH E3) and SOPs.
• Mentoring junior medical writers and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Leads the completion of medical writing deliverables (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, presentations).
• Manages medical writing activities with minimal supervision across departments.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, templates, authorship, and style guidelines.
• Coordinates quality and editorial reviews; manages source documentation and team reviews.
• Acts as peer reviewer for internal reviews to ensure scientific content and formatting.
• Collaborates with data management, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs to produce deliverables.
• Identifies issues, escalates appropriately, and provides technical training and guidance.
• Develops topic expertise in industry topics and regulatory requirements.
• Monitors budgeted hours and communicates status to medical writing leadership.
• Performs administrative tasks and other duties; travel may be <25%.
