Job summary

LA28 is seeking a Communications Operations professional to support planning, coordination, and execution of the NCS communications and information management strategy for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

In this role you will manage end-to-end publication lifecycles, collaborate with NCS relations and planning teams, ensure editorial standards, translations, accessibility, and on-time deliveries across digital and print channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
• 3+ years in communications, publishing, or major event operations with content lifecycle experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, with strong proofreading and quality control.
• Exceptional project coordination and time management for multiple content pipelines.
• Strong visual communication sense and presentation design using PowerPoint or Google Slides.
• Experience coordinating with translation services or multilingual content workflows.
• Ability to translate complex operational information into clear, concise deliverables.
• Comfort in fast-paced, evolving environments and changing priorities.
• Ability to collaborate across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end timelines, version control, approvals, and distribution across NCS digital and print platforms.
• Drive lifecycle of core NCS publications, including Chef de Mission Guides, from content gathering to final distribution.
• Gather inputs from NCS relations, planning teams, and partners to ensure completeness and accuracy of publications.
• Ensure publications meet LA28 editorial standards, branding, translations, accessibility, and sustainability requirements.
• Support integration of technology and AI-enabled solutions to improve publication pipelines and efficiency.
• Draft, review, and distribute newsletters, extranet updates, policies, guides, and publications; operate NCS information systems.
• Monitor content on information-sharing channels for accuracy, relevancy, and accessibility; maintain databases and trackers.
• Assist with meeting prep, content development, in-room logistics, and follow-up for Chefs de Mission meetings.
• Coordinate and deliver global communication with stakeholders during readiness exercises and live operations.
• Assist in other Games-time operations and special projects.
