Job summary

LA28 is seeking a hands-on Operations Planning Associate to help coordinate cross-functional workstreams and turn complex plans into actionable guidance. You'll build trackers, timelines, dashboards, and decks to keep executives and teams aligned for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

The role requires 4+ years in planning or project management, strong communication, and meticulous organization, with fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in operational planning or project management.
• Experience in cross-functional roles within complex organisations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to influence stakeholders.
• Exceptional organisational skills with ability to manage ambiguity.
• Fluency in English and eagerness to learn in a fast-evolving Games environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cross-functional integration across operational planning workstreams.
• Develop and maintain trackers, timelines, dashboards, decks, and status updates.
• Translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations and visuals for leadership.
• Facilitate working sessions, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and track actions.
• Identify risks, issues, and opportunities with recommended actions.
• Support additional duties as the role evolves, potentially including on-site operations during games.
