Job summary

The City of Webster's Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated Utility Equipment Operator to maintain its water and sewer systems and skillfully operate a range of equipment. Qualifications

• Over one year of relevant experience required.
• Experience with municipal utility operations is beneficial.
• Licenses/certifications preferred as listed.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoes, tractors, box blades and various mowers and trucks.
• Maintain and repair water and sewer systems, monitor equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and interface with City employees and citizens.
• Occasional on-call duties in evenings and on weekends and provide direction to staff.

Skills

Experience 1+ year

Education

Texas CDL Driver's License (preferred)

Equipment Operator Certification (preferred)

Water/Wastewater Operator Licenses (TCEQ) Class D (preferred)
