Village of Roselle is seeking a full-time Utilities & Streets Operator to manage water distribution and street infrastructure in the Public Works Department. Responsibilities include monitoring pumping stations, meters, storage facilities, and maintaining roadways, sidewalks, and storm sewers.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a CDL or ability to obtain, and 3+ years in public works, plus a Class D Water Operator-in-Training license within 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• CDL endorsement or ability to obtain within 6 months (CDL training provided).
• 3+ years of public works/construction experience.
• Class D Water Operator-in-Training License within 12 months (training provided).

Responsabilités

• Water Distribution Operations: Monitor distribution per laws and EPA regs; inspect/repair pumping stations, storage facilities, meters.
• Street Operations: Maintain/repair roadways, sidewalks, storm sewer, signage, trees; snow/ice removal.
• Construction & Public Works Tasks: Truck driving, excavating, sanitary/storm sewers, water mains.
