Job summary

The City of Nacogdoches is seeking a qualified Streets Supervisor to oversee daily operations and personnel in the Streets Division. You will direct crews in constructing, repairing and maintaining city streets, sidewalks, drainage systems, parking lots and rights-of-way.

Key responsibilities include planning daily operations, supervising staff, managing work orders and budgets, and ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes across infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 4 years street maintenance experience, 2 in lead role.
• Valid Texas Driver's license and Class B CDL (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct daily operations, construction and repairs of city infrastructure.
• Supervise, schedule, evaluate and train division staff and crews.
• Manage work orders, track project timelines and ensure high-quality, safe execution.
• Assist with division budget monitoring, equipment purchasing and safety compliance.
