Job summary

The City of Nacogdoches is seeking a Streets Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Streets Division, directing crews in constructing, repairing and maintaining streets, sidewalks, drainage, parking lots and rights-of-way.

You will plan, organize and supervise projects, coach staff and monitor safety and quality standards to ensure reliable public works services for the community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with street maintenance training.
• 4 years street maintenance experience with 2+ years in a lead role.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and Class B CDL (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct daily operations, construction and repairs of city streets and related infrastructure.
• Supervise, schedule, evaluate and train division staff and crews.

The City of Nacogdoches is seeking a qualified and experienced Streets Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and personnel in the Streets Division. In this role, you will direct crews in constructing, repairing and maintaining city streets, sidewalks, drainage systems, parking lots and rights-of-way.

• Supervise, schedule, evaluate and train division staff and crews.
• Manage work orders, track project timelines and ensure high-quality, safe execution.
• Assist with division budget monitoring, equipment purchasing and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED supplemented by specialized training in street maintenance or related field.
• Four (4) years of street maintenance experience, including two (2) years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Valid Texas Driver's license and Class B CDL (or ability to obtain within 6 months; Class A preferred).
