The Town of Spring Lake is seeking a Street Supervisor to oversee the Streets and Sanitation Divisions in Spring Lake, NC. You will supervise crews, coordinate daily operations, and ensure safe, timely service delivery with heavy equipment oversight.

Required qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, five years in related work, a valid NC Class B CDL, and pesticide certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; five years of related experience in municipal street maintenance, sanitation, public works, or related field.
• Valid North Carolina Class B CDL required; pesticide applicator certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Ability to obtain additional job-related certifications as needed; overtime/standbywork may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and supervise daily Streets and Sanitation operations for efficient service.
• Supervise construction and maintenance of streets, sidewalks, drainage, and related infrastructure.
• Direct sanitation operations including route scheduling and equipment use.
• Inspect and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with town policies.
• Maintain records, logs, and reports; respond to service requests and emergencies.
