Job summary

Morris County Government is seeking a Bridge Maintenance Worker to support the Bridge Division. The role involves maintaining 1,000 bridges and culverts across 39 municipalities within Morris County, performing routine tasks and using hand tools and power equipment as needed.

Applicants must have a Class B or A license, CDL, and be able to read and write English. Preference is given to candidates with public works experience and a valid license maintained at all times.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Maintenance of 1000 bridges and culverts throughout 39 municipalities in Morris County.

Under the direction of the Bridge Division, routine tasks include brush cutting, rail painting, concrete forming, mixing and patching, salting bridge sidewalks, snow removal on sidewalks/roads, replacement of drainage pipes. Candidate will use of various hand tools and power equipment as needed.

Qualifications
