Montgomery County in Pennsylvania seeks a maintenance supervisor to schedule and complete road and bridge work. The role involves operating equipment and coordinating crews under the Foreman, with emergency callouts and on-call duties during off hours and weekends.
Candidates should have extensive experience in construction and maintenance of roads and bridges, knowledge of PennDOT standards, and the ability to read design plans. A valid PA CDL is required for vehicle operation.
This position shall at times be responsible for scheduling and completing maintenance tasks in a timely fashion. The employee shall be responsible to ensure maintenance duties are completed in a safest manner with quality. The position works under the direction of the foreperson, but can receive direction form the Superintendent or Department Director.
