Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance, construction or repair experience.
• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
• Possession of a valid driver license.
• Flagging certificate may be required; Class A/B license may be required depending on area of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance, construction and repair work in the area of work assigned.
• Install, repair and maintain water, sewer and irrigation systems, etc.
• Operate and service a wide range of maintenance equipment.
• Direct traffic, set up traffic control devices and flagging functions.
• Inspect and maintain playground equipment, parks and signs.
• Respond to emergencies as needed.
