Job summary

Cedar Grove Township is seeking a hard-working Maintenance Worker for the Department of Public Works. The role may serve in the Parks or Road Department and includes lawn care, leaf and snow removal, catch basin repairs, roadway work, pothole filling, curb repairs and painting.

The candidate must hold a valid Class A CDL or obtain one within six months, be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly, and work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds regularly, and over 75 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manual labor including lawn maintenance of various municipal properties.
• Leaf removal and snow removal.
• Catch basin repair, roadway maintenance, pothole filling, curb repair and painting.
• Assist with water main breaks and other labor-related tasks as needed.
