Job summary

Village of Round Lake Beach is seeking a dependable Public Works Maintenance Worker I to perform manual and semi-skilled tasks across street maintenance, water and sewer systems, forestry, grounds maintenance, fleet services, and facility upkeep.

You will operate vehicles and equipment, support seasonal snow operations, and assist with repairs and maintenance across multiple public works divisions. A CDL with endorsements is required or obtainable within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Illinois Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsements, or ability to obtain within six months.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor and work in varying weather conditions.
