Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (USDE/CHEA approved).
• Six months recent experience in installation/repair/inspection of utility work incl. water or sanitary sewer systems or plumbing.
• Certificate/diploma from a technical college or military training in related fields; welding, plumbing, pump maintenance, mechanics, electric preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain city storm sewers, streets, and right of way (ROW).
• Must obtain Class A CDL within 120 days of employment/promotion.
• Pass physical Ability/Agility test and background checks as required.

Education

GED or USDE CHEA acknowledged HS diploma

Vocational HS program certificate

Technical college diploma in welding/plumbing/mechanics/electric
