Job summary

Town of Marana in Marana, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Associate I to work in the Streets Division of the Public Works Department. This full-time position offers a fast-paced environment and the chance to serve the community.

Hours vary seasonally (5:00 am–3:30 pm in summer; 6:00 am–4:30 pm rest of year) with four days a week and rotating on-call. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, six months in a related field, and a valid Arizona driver license, plus pass a physical and

• Performs routine semi-skill maintenance and/or landscaping tasks: inspects, cleans, and performs routine maintenance work on trucks and equipment; identifies and reports mechanical problems; uses a variety of hand and power tools.
• Provides service to internal and external customers.
• Performs work duties and operates a variety of trucks and equipment in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures.

The Town of Marana is seeking a Maintenance Associate I to work in the Streets Division of the Public Works Department. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working in a fast-paced environment. The Public Works Department provides services that are vital to our community’s health, safety and comfort.

Hours Of Operation

June 1 – October 1 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
October 2 – May 31 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
4 days a week with mandatory rotating on call

Expected Hiring Range

$18.76/hour – $22.98/hour

• Placement within the salary range is dependent on direct experience, internal equity and/or budget.

Salary Range

$18.76/hour – $27.21/hour
