Job summary

The role requires 3+ years in municipal inspection and preferred CAD/GIS skills; a strong focus on safety, accuracy and reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years in municipal inspections or related field.
• Associates degree or vocational CAD, surveying, highway/utility construction preferred.
• Ability to read codes, specifications, engineering maps, plans, and blueprints and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of street improvements, drainage, utilities, parks, and related works.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, consultants, developers, and City staff; prepare reports, pay estimates, change orders.
• Maintain records, punch lists, and as-built drawings; assist with pre-construction conferences and progress payments.
