Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; related maintenance and/or construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read traffic signs, warning labels and simple operating instructions desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing maintenance work on streets, signs, and drainage under direct supervision.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of concrete, signs, grounds, and related items.
• Prepare and clean up work sites, operate and maintain tools, observe safety practices.
• Set up traffic warning devices and direct traffic around work sites; respond to emergencies as needed.
• Assist with reporting, logs, and basic documentation of materials and equipment.
