Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with progressive maintenance/construction experience preferred.
• Minimum five years in construction/maintenance of streets, alleys or drainage with supervisory exposure.
• Ability to supervise staff and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, supervise and review work of crews for streets, alleys, drainage and signals.
• Develop priorities, budgets and preventative maintenance programs for streets and drainage.
• Coordinate with Fleet Maintenance for vehicle replacement and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure safety programs are established and followed; respond to inquiries from citizens and officials.
